Talent Lead - London & Remote

Our client is a company is a diverse team of individuals in an early-stage startup, with ambitious plans for growth.  Their product aims to make running a business easier through a combination of SAAS and business current account features.

The role...

Our client is looking to grow significantly over the coming years and are looking for an ambitious Talent Lead to join their team. You’ll take ownership of all things recruitment. You will play a key role in helping the company hire top talent to meet ambitious growth plans, working alongside the hiring managers to source talent.

This would be a great opportunity for an external recruiter looking to move in-house or an internal recruiter that wants to get involved in a small, growing business.

Duties include...

  • Proposing a new recruitment strategy, identifying creative ways we can attract talent
  • End to end hiring across all disciplines including engineering, operations and commercial – Drafting compelling job adverts, Shortlisting and pre-screening applications, aiming to make things as easy and efficient as possible for our hiring managers
  • Direct sourcing and Head-hunting
  • Building and maintaining talent pipelines for future opportunities
  • Owning our ATS system and recruitment admin
  • Producing clear and concise outputs that speak for themselves
  • Building our employer brand
  • Owning the candidate experience making sure every applicant leaves with a positive impression of the company and finding ways to improve our recruitment process

The ideal candidate...

  • Previous recruitment experience either in house or agency (a strong background in technical recruitment would be a plus)
  • Experience in direct sourcing using a range of techniques and job boards
  • Be comfortable working at pace and managing multiple things at once
  • Able to act with a high degree of integrity, sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills – you can build strong relationships
  • You like to understand how and why things are being done to inform potential improvements
  • You are continuously trying to improve how you work and the results

Previous experience...

  • We’re open to candidates with diverse backgrounds
  • You have at least 3 years work experience in a recruitment environment
  • You have great capability with:
    • ATS system (Greenhouse)
    • Google sheets or Excel
